Northants FA checking our club's commitment to our children's welfare

We welcome the opportunity to demonstrate our strong commitment to these core values and look forward to hosting the Northants FA team very soon
- Halse Committee

Please be aware that Northants FA will be shortly visiting our club to validate Halse towards the FA standard safeguarding commitments.

These commitments for every club are:

  • Ensuring that information on those working with our children is accurate and up to date on the relevant systems,
  • Ensuring those that work with our children have had appropriate vetting,
  • Ensuring those above have completed, or re-certified against the safeguarding children's workshop,
  • Committing (at a management committee) to doing safeguarding training, and
  • (for Charter Standard Clubs, of which Halse is one) Ensuring all youth teams have at least one FA qualified coach with the necessary and relevant FA certificates

The FA are keen to talk to parents as well as club officials present at the training and matches they visit, so please be prepared to talk to any official who will be introduced to you by your coaches or committee present.
