I would like to confirm that our Second Senior Team will be leaving the club at the end of this season. The committee would like to take this opportunity to wish Head Coach Steve Appleton and the players all the best for their future football journey.

I would also like to confirm our First Team will continue next season under new leadership of Lee Smith who has a very successful football career including Managing Bicester Hallions taking them from Lord Jersey League 2 to Oxfordshire Senior League doing the double in full 4 seasons winning the Premier Division and President Cup and completely undefeated in 2021/22.

Lee said "The players and club tick all my boxes, I want to work with a young bunch of players at a club motivated to keep developing and move up the steps. I'm very excited to get going"[/I]

I can confirm First Team pre-season will start mid July.

Lastly Halse United is always about creating the right player development pathway from junior through Senior football at the best standard hence why the First Team will be going for promotion onto step 6 in 2025/26.
