However just 4 minutes later Daventry take the lead again and Halse are hit with a sucker punch straight form goal. The second half gets underway at 19.59.
Were 54 minutes into game now and Halse gain a free kick with the game being quite feisty at the start of this second half with a few hard tackles going into each other with this time the Daventry defender has a late swipe at Summers.
Then from this resulting free kick Halse get a penalty when Durnin gets the ball out wide and drives into the box. Durnin is clipped from behind and bough down. Read steps up and fires his penalty down the middle, which is met by another great save from the Daventry keeper. The Daventry keepre has been solid throughout.
Another chance for Halse on 60 when Durnin gets the better of his man again down the right and drives into the box. Durnin gets under the ball too much and lofts his shot over the bar.
More substitutions on 62 minutes with Trialist A & Summers off being replaced by forward Williams and midfielder Mortimer.
The second half finished 0-0 and the Halse lads fall out the cup.
A dissapointing evening for Halse but Daventry played well with a goal keeper that saved them a number of times.
We wish Daventry well in the final.
