A fantastic first performance from the lads in an early kickoff to beat the scorching heat. Plenty of positives for everyone to take away. We managed to create sustained periods of attacks throughout the match with countless shots on target, shooting practice might be on the cards this week. Not to take anything away from our opponents as they made some fantastic saves and goal line clearances. Real body on the line stuff! We will need to be more clinical as we move into the league season.

A few new signings who will be announced this week, played and fitted straight into the side, with one picking up POTM vote from his peers for an excellent midfield performance. Unreal workrate, impeccable decision making and excellent distribution!

Woodford Devs took their chances well and made it a challenge for our back line whenever they got into our half, some work to be done there in the coming weeks.

Overall a solid first run out with plenty of positives, along with plenty to work on in the coming weeks ready for the new season.
