The boys made the short journey over to Brill on Saturday for this Prem fixture. Halse had already faced Brill at home in October collecting 3 points and a clean sheet.

Frankie announced a 16 man strong squad for this fixture on a day where the weather was awful along with the pitch but game was on.

It's an early opener for Halse on 5 minutes with an early corner whipped into the front post by Read which is flicked on by Salvatore and poked home by young Durnin.

Brill respond just 4 minutes later with a long ball releases the Brill 11 down the left and he cuts inside and slots it bottom left to make it level.

Halse respond instantly on 10 minutes when skipper Simpson picks up a loose ball on the edge of the Brill box. Simpson slots the ball through to Read who dinks the ball over the Brill keeper.

The game settles for next 15 minutes then Halse increase their lead when Read skins the Brill right back and drives into the box. Read cuts the ball back to midfielder Gilsenan who drifts onto the ball and slots it bottom left first time.

Just two minutes in and Halse increase the lead further again when young forward Capstick flicks the ball around the keeper to Read who rounds the keeper and slots the ball into an empty net.

On 55 minutes and Read get's his hatrick when Simpson lays off Read who beautifully curls it into the top right corner to make it 5!
Brill 1-5 Halse
Brill respond straight away when the Brill 7 is realeased in behind the Halse defence who buries it past Mickley.
Brill 2-5 Halse
Brill get a free kick on 60 minutes and drill the ball and nestles into the bottom left of the Halse net.
Brill 3-5 Halse
First substitution for Halse on 62 minutes with Hornett off and West on.
Double substitution for Halse on 67 minutes with Read and Summers off and Purnell and De'ath on.
It's another goal for Halse on 72 minutes when Capstick is in down the left and cuts the ball back to De'ath and with a first time finish squeezes past the Brill keeper at the near post.
